highways connecting Trichy city getting better

The national highways connecting Trichy city from various cities like Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Pudukottai, Tanjore are getting better.

• The Trichy - Chennai highway will be finished by may 2009 completely.
• Trichy - Tanjore work has begun from Thuvakudi. This way already has four lane from Kattur to Kailashapuram. So its getting easy to lay better and quick.
• Trichy - Madurai work also undergoing.
• Trichy - Karur highway has been taken by Reliance and its the critical highway in trichy region since it lies on the bank of river cauvery.
• Trichy - Pudukottai also getting important since it has so many colleges, universities and industries along side.
  

These roads are important to get Trichy by National Highways. The Outer Ring road also be proposed to overcome city traffic which is increased day to day.
